Two brass blowpans - (9100)

Pair of hammered brass ‘blowpans’ which were used to remove impurities from the gold dust by softly blowing into the narrow end of the blowpan. These two blowpans were used by prospectors in Ghana, West Africa, and are old. Length 15 and 12.5 cm. Width 8.3 and 6.3 cm.
